Gulf Shores elected officials will meet for a committee of the whole work session today at 3 p.m.

On the meeting agenda, Director of Finance and Administrative Services Cindy King will discuss a change to life insurance dependent coverage, and an installment financing contract for vehicles and equipment.

Assembly permits will be discussed for the Alabama Coastal Triathlon, the Kaiser Fun Run and the 2011 Hot Trot for ARC.

The city clerk will present a parade permit application for the upcoming Gulf Shores Mardi Gras parade.

There will also be a councilmember discussion period and comments from Mayor Robert Craft.
