2011 HURRICANE EXPO

LOCATION; Erie Meyer Civic Center, Gulf Shores. There will be local vendors from around the area displaying products and services designed to help you prepare for the upcoming Hurricane Season, which begins on June 1. The City will have two speaker sessions, one at 12:30 p.m. and the second at 5:30 p.m.During these sessions, City department heads will inform the public of the procedures followed by City employees, and the different criteria associated with storm activities. There will be a question and answer session following each speaker session. The entire Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan Community is invited and encouraged to attend.

The program runs weekdays during the summer and is for kids going into K-6th grades. It’s open to year round Orange Beach residents only (proof of residency required).
It includes indoor & outdoor games, arts & crafts, movies, music, swimming, field trips, and special events. Activities are conducted by full time and/or summer staff.
COST: Registration fee is $35 for each child and is due at registration, plus 1st week payment of $60 for the first child and $55.00 for each additional child.
