GULF SHORES, AL - A Special Meeting of the Gulf Shores City Council has been scheduled and noticed for 4 p.m. March 18 at the Erie Meyer Annex Conference Room for the Council to convene in Executive Session to discuss with the City Attorney legal options for controversies if the city pursues a certain proposed course of action with regard to further regulate possession and consumption of alcohol on beaches.

Following that Executive Session, the Council will reconvene the Special Meeting at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall to consider amending the Code of Ordinances to further regulate the possession or consumption of alcohol on beaches, and for the transaction of any and all other business that may come before the Council at that time.
