Gulf Shores Elementary School held their School-wide Spelling Bee Nov. 1. Forty-two students from grades three through six participated. It took 12 rounds before sixth-grader McKinnon Ryall, left, was named the spelling bee champ and fifth-grader Hannah Phillips was named runner-up. GSES is proud of all our spelling bee participants. McKinnon will represent GSES at the county spelling bee in February. Also pictured is pronouncer Candyce Fuqua.
