GULF SHORES, Alabama — The members of the Gulf Shores Garden Club used funds from their February Flower Seminar to donate a park bench to the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail.
The trails run along 7.8 miles of swamps, marshes, creeks and secondary sand dunes and are enjoyed by both walkers and bikers. The Gulf Shores Garden Club would like to extend a warm invitation to their first garden club meeting on Wednesday Sept. 5. Social time begins at 9:30 am at the
Harry Roberts Community Center (Gulf Shores Senior Activities Center), 300 E. 16th Ave. The club meets the first Wednesday of every month from September
through May.
Some of the social activities include speakers, field trips, floral arranging, crafting, lunches and local civic development projects.
Please come join this creative group of women who enjoy getting together and have fun while contributing their various talents to the Gulf Shores Community.
