Pugh, 32, was pulled over by East Brewton police officer Andy Miles in November on U.S. 41 after his erratic driving was called in by a civilian. He was arrested just north of the Alabama/Florida state line. The Chevy Blazer being driven by Pugh turned out to be a stolen vehicle belonging to a volunteer fire fighter in Santa Rosa County, Fla.
Officer Miles called for backup and was assisted by officer Chris Neal.

No information was released regarding what Pugh’s blood-alcohol content was at the time of the arrest.
