Gulf Shores Middle School Library welcomes aide Brandi Roberts

Posted

Brandi Roberts, the new library aide at GSMS, has two kids, ages 8 and 12 who both play sports.

She loves to read, loves to cook, loves to watch movies, and loves to write. Back when she was in middle school, she was involved in journalism. She is an Auburn fan.

Roberts has another job, too. On weekends she cleans condos and houses. In the library, she helps Leticia Teal catalog books, and organize the shelves, so please try to put the books back to their places when you’re visiting the library.

Roberts is a media aid, and she also helps with student aids. She also checks out and checks in books.

If you would like to meet Roberts, she’s here every Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday.

She’ll be in the library with Teal so whenever you need them, they’ll be there. If you get to meet her you will know right away she has a great personality. And always remember to be polite.

Roberts is a certified Elementary teacher. She was a substitute in Elberta Elementary and in  Foley Elementary. Always make sure when you enter the library, you’re on your best behavior.

“I just met her and she’s really nice, and I think we will work together nicely,” Teal said.

When asked about  Roberts, Teal said, “Ms. Roberts is a wonderful person and I really do hope you get to meet her. It has been an honor to have Ms. Roberts in our Gulf Shores Middle School library.”

Make sure when you go to the library, or see her anywhere, you welcome her to our school.

“I love Gulf Shores Middle School,” Ms. Roberts pointed out, “Everybody made me feel welcome and I’m looking forward  to a great new year.”
