Supper will be served from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. at the GSUMC South Campus Auditorium (located in the Winn-Dixie Shopping Center).
The menu consists of White Chicken Chili, Ski Slope Soup and other delicious homemade soups, along with cornbread, salad and homemade desserts and coffee. Advance supper tickets are on sale from 9a.m. 3 p.m. in the South Campus Auditorium (located in the Winn-Dixie Shopping Center) and after 3 p.m. in the church office for $8 per person; however, can be purchased at the door both nights for $10 per person.
Additionally, there will be a Silent Auction held during dinner, closing Feb. 27 at 12:15 p.m. The featured item is a National Championship Auburn Tiger souvenir football autographed by Coach Gene Chizik.
All proceeds benefit the youth Ecuador Summer 2011 team members who need to raise $2,028 each for this mission effort. The team comprises 10 middle- and high-school students and five adults. They will help build a daycare in Attucucho, a slum near Quito, Ecuador. The students will prepare Vacation Bible School activities to do in the mornings and afternoons each day with the children of Attucucho.
