Gulf Shores, New York school to help train Afghan teachers for academies

GULF SHORES, Ala. - The National Educator Program (NEP) has been awarded a grant to developcareer academies in Afghanistan. Gulf Shores is the sister school for the NEP Lab school (CASS - The Cultural Academy of Arts & Science High School) in Brooklyn. GSHS/CASS will host and train administrators and teachers from Afghanistan through this project.

The announcement will be made in New York City (CAAS High School) on Friday at 8 a.m. and principal Dr. Ernie Rosado and Career Academy Coordinator Charlene Hoffman will represent Baldwin County schools.
