GULF SHORES, Ala. -  On May 25, 2013, Gulf Shores Police Department along with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic safety checkpoint on Alabama Highway 180 (Ft. Morgan Road) at Lagoon Park.  The checkpoint operated from 7 p.m. to midnight.

GSPD had 10 personnel on scene along with 4 BCSO deputies.  A total of 360 vehicles were checked and the results of those checks are listed below.

The arrests were for underage possession of alcohol (2), DUI, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of controlled substances, and one active felony warrant.
