Thursday night has long been considered “Locals Night” and the 39th Annual National Shrimp Festival Committee and the Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce are asking locals to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Christian Service Center’s food bank.
Drop-off boxes
Food drop-off boxes will be at each entrance of the festival. You may also bring non-perishable food items to the Chamber office located at 3501 Gulf Shores Parkway, Oct. 4-6.
The Christian Service Center has provided food and other services to countless families and this food drive will give the community an opportunity to help them re-stock their food bank before the holidays.
