Gulf Shores Thrift Store donates golf cart

GULF SHORES, Ala. — The Holy Spirit Thrift Shop in Gulf Shores recently donated a six-passenger golf cart to Camp Beckwith. Pictured above in front of the golf cart are Holy Spirit Thrift Shop Chairman Dick Reid and Eleanor Parker, Director of Marketing and Development of Camp Beckwith. 

Camp Beckwith, located on 84 acres off Baldwin County 10 on Weeks Bay in South Baldwin County, is the  Conference Center of the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast and serves guests of all denominations. 

Holy Spirit Thrift Shop is an outreach ministry of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, Gulf Shores. The Thrift Shop is located at 6798 Alabama 59 and is open Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m-1 p.m.  Proceeds from the sale of donated clothes, furniture, books, linens and small household goods benefit non-profit charitable organizations in Baldwin County.
