The City of Gulf Shores Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department will hold registration for all youth football, soccer, flag football and cheerleading leagues throughout the month of July.

Youth football and cheerleading registration will be held July 9 - July 27 and will be open to children ages 8 to 12. Football player evaluations will be held at Sims Park on July 30 for ages 7 and 8, July 31 for ages 9 and 10, and August 2 for ages 11 and 12.

Registration for youth soccer and flag football will be held from July 16 - August 3. Soccer leagues are available to children ages 5 - 14; while flag football is open to ages 5 and 6 only. Soccer player evaluations will be held at Sims Park on August 13 for ages 6 through 9 and on August 14 for ages 10 through 14.

Players may register at the David L. Bodenhamer Recreation Center or online at www.gulfshoresal.gov. All players must present birth certificates at the time of registration. Registration for all leagues is $70 per player for all David L. Bodenhamer Recreation Center members and $80 per player for all non-members. There is a $10 late fee for anyone registering after the deadline for their league.
