Gulf Shores Town meeting set for May 14

GULF SHORES, Ala. — The second Town Hall meeting of 2009 will be held on Thursday, May 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Gulf Shores Adult Activity Center. 

Mayor Robert Craft will be addressing community communication plans that will include neighborhood meetings.

In addition, Police Chief Arthur Bourne will impart new and important information regarding hurricane preparedness.

Members of the city council and the area representatives for Town Hall meetings will be in attendance to answer questions and take suggestions from those in attendance.

The purpose of the Town Hall meetings is to increase citizen involvement in community decisions. 

All residents of Gulf Shores are encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity for residents to share your ideas on what would make our community even better.
