Thirty local artists and crafters will be presenting and selling their unique, original creations at “The Harvest – a Festival of Gifts” in Gulf Shores.

Sponsored by the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Mothers Day Out and Preschool program, this annual event will feature the works of local artists and crafters specializing in a variety of mediums including paintings, pastels, photography, wearable art and jewelry, home décor, and wood crafts.

“The Harvest Festival is meant to honor and support the talents of our local artists while offering a variety of special holiday gifts to the community,” says Lana Crawford, director of the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Mothers Day Out and Preschool program, “We are pleased to announce that this year’s festival has tripled in size which means even more unique creations to choose from.”

In addition to the local artists and crafters, the festival will feature an art gallery, a silent auction, a decorated pumpkin contest, food and a sweet shop.  Admission and parking are free.  The first 250 families to shop will receive a free eco-friendly tote bag.  The Harvest will be Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the south campus of Gulf Shores United Methodist Church (Winn Dixie Shopping Center).
