The Gulf Shores Woman’s Club would like to thank all the Gulf Shores Women’s Club membership, guests, Craft Farms, local shops and Gulf Shores firemen who participated in the 17th Annual Gulf Shores Women’s Club 2019 Silent Auction and Fashion Show Luncheon Oct. 3.

At the Nov. 13 general meeting and luncheon, the proceeds from the event were donated to two local charities. Executive Director Beth Biggs of Family Promise and Christine Landers from Mary's Shelter accepted the donations.

A family that had received support from Family Promise spoke to members and guests about the value and hope that this organization had provided them, while Christine Landers shared information about Mary's Shelter.
