GULF SHORES, Ala. - Fishermen visiting the Gulf State Park Pier may soon be able to purchase beer at the store located on the dock.

In a Gulf Shores City Council work session on Monday, an application was presented by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and a public hearing set for Nov. 5 on the application. A vote is expected on Nov. 5 as well.

Also, Belle Foods, which bought the old Bruno’s location at the corner of Alabama 59 and Fort Morgan Road is applying for a beer and table wine license. A hearing and vote on that application will also be Nov. 5.
