Ruby E. Gustafson, 94, a native of Frankford in Washington County and a resident of Silverhill, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008.
She was a member of the Silverhill First Baptist Church for over 60 years and had a talent for quilting.
She was preceded in death by her son, Henry Richardson.
Survivors include two daughters, Anna (Michael) Allegri of Loxley and Nannette “Kit” Chandler of Silverhill; three sons, Leon (Dorothy) Richardson of Silverhill, Milton John (Lydia) Gustafson Jr. of Granby, Conn., and David Carl (Audrey) Gustafson of Holland, Mich.; daughter-in-law, Susie Richardson of Robertsdale; sister-in-law Violet Linden of Silverhill; 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the Silverhill First Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen House officiating. Burial followed at Silverhill Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Silverhill First Baptist Church, 15898 Silverhill Avenue, Silverhill, AL 36576.
