Cora Lee Hudson Haddox, 98, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at Magnolia Manor-Spartanburg, S.C.
She was born Jan. 1, 1911 in Clark County. She was a member of Central Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents David and Alma Belle Whigham Hudson, and her husband, Clyde N. Haddox.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan H. (Henry) Moore of Spartanburg, S.C.; son, David N. (Ingeborg) Haddox of Spartanburg, S.C.; three sisters, Nell Dempsey and Lurlene Sumpter, both of Bay Minette and Christine Gibbs of Mobile; brother, James Hudson of Bay Minette; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Southeastern Children’s Home, P.O. Box 339, Duncan, SC 29334 or to Palmetto Bible Camp, 140 Fall Creek Road, Marietta, SC 29661.
