Elsby Durant Hadley, 71, a resident of Robertsdale, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Durant and Nettie Hadley; sister, Emma Jean Joiner; and two brothers, Charlie Hadley and Marvin Hadley.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Hadley of Robertsdale; four daughters, Juanita “Sally” (Carl) Kirchner, Bonnie Johnson, Betty (Rusty) Fitkin, all of Robertsdale, and Janie (Darryl) Vincent of Mobile; son, Rodney (Michael Deal) Hadley of Mobile; eight grandchildren, Brandy (Jimmy) Milstid of Robertsdale, Scottie Kimbler of Atlanta, Jeremy Johnson of Daphne, Chad (Tammy) Fitkin and Matthew (Taylor) Kimbler, both of Robertsdale, Chassidy (Jeremy Griffith) Fitkin of Loxley, Tyler Farmer and Savannah Brown, both of Mobile; 10 great-grandchildren, Lane Milstid, Taylor Milstid, Kaleigh Fitkin, Chloe Kimbler, Landon Deer and Coleman Kimbler; step-children, Joan (Michael) Goodwin and Jackie (Donna) Beck; step-grandchildren, Lindsey Abrego, Stacey Goodwin, Joe Beck and Brandy Beck; three step-great-grandchildren; six sisters, Ome Ree Banks of Chipley, Fla., Edna Mae Miller of Molino, Fla., Mary Lou Pimperal and Lillie Mae Church, both of Bay Minette, Bertha Mae Parnell of Fairhope and Sarah Mae Jackson of Bay Minette; two brothers, Ellick Hadley of White House Fork and Thomas Earl Hadley of Bay Minette; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 20 at Mack Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pittman Cemetery in Robertsdale.
