Henry J. “Butch” Hall, 63, a native of McCullough. former resident of Fairhope and a resident of Perdido for the last six years, died Friday, Dec. 11. 2009 at a local hospital.
He retired from Auburn University as an agricultural specialist after 41 years. He was an avid hunter and Alabama fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Virginia Hall, and a sister, Anita Hall.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Eloise Hall of Perdido; three sons, Brian (Karen) Hall of Jefferson, Ga., Greg (Becky) Hall of Daphne, and Terry Hall of Richmond, Va.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Wayne Hall of Evergreen and Mike Hall of Cullman; and a sister, Charlotte Cooner of Kingsman, Ga.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Fuenral Home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 16 at the funeral home with Brother Steve Ward and Brother Steve Breceda officiating. Burial followed at McCullough Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Brown, Lamar Hadley, Phillip Palmer, Bo White, Don Wayne Brown and Elbin Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Boatwright, Guy Milstead and Audie Coleman.
Arrangements were made by Petty Funeral Homes LLC, Eastside Chapel, Atmore.
