GULF SHORES, Ala - The Hangout in Gulf Shores is bringing bands from Louisiana and an authentic Cochon de Lait Pig Roast. Sept.2-5 to celebrate Labor Day Weekend Cajun style.
There will be with free concerts all weekend long. Join us for great food, fun, music and dancing for the whole family.
On Sept. 3 Mark Broussard will be featured starting at 7 p.m., followed by Wayne Toups and Zydecajan at 7 p.m. on Sept. 4.
Marc Broussard, www.marcbroussard.com, recently released his first self-titled album. The story here is simple yet eloquent: It's great music, pulled from the heart, crafted impeccably and delivered with the deep emotion that has long marked Broussard as one of the great vocalists of our time.
Wayne Toups & Zydecajun, www.waynetoups.com, is out there again this year, rocking America with his spicy blend of rock, folk, R&B and Cajun styles. There is no one quite like Wayne Toups, as any attendee of his 125 sold-out shows a year can attest. This year, Toups is out there with a difference an album that bottles the outrageous energy of his performances with the Cajun tunes of his boyhood.
