FloyAnne Hansen, 75, born Nov. 21, 1933 in Duluth, Minn., a longtime area resident and a resident of Elberta, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Hanson in 1995, and her mother, Anne Ruckel in 1999.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Donald H.H. Hansen Sr. of Elberta; daughter, Deanne “Greg” Gates of Lillian; two sons, Donald H.H. (Annette) Hansen Jr. of Selma, N.C., and David Hansen of Pensacola, Fla.; brother, Dennis (Dottie) Rigstad of Medford, N.J.; grandchildren, Michael (Holly) Hansen, Taylor Hansen, Maggie Hansen, all of Bement, Ill., Elizabeth (Jared) Kantrowitz of Goshen, N.Y., Amber (Kalvin) Jones, Christopher (Brooke) Hansen of Robertsdale; Jonathan and Steven Gates of Lillian, Nicole Hansen of Pensacola, Fla., and Brandi Hansen of Jacksonville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Braxton Jones of Austin, Texas, Trinity Hansen and Darren Hansen of Robertsdale, and Landon Hansen of Pensacola, Fla.
Visitation begins at noon with funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Chumley officiating. Burial will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
