The Rev. and Mrs. Harold Blackburn will celebrate their 68th wedding anniversary June 9. The couple exchanged vows June 9, 1940 at Bethel Baptist Church in Citronelle. They have three children, Charles Blackburn, Carol Clendenin and Kay Davis; seven grandchildren, Sandra Sawyer, Scott Odom, Janie Finley, Dana Sullivan, Ashley Reyes, Zack Davis and Dusty Davis; and 19 great-grandchildren. Blackburn was director of missions for the Baldwin Baptist Association from Sept. 1, 1972 to Dec. 31, 1984.
