Frank Mixon “Mickey” Harbin Jr., 70, of Gulf Shores, died Friday, June 27, 2008 at his home.
He was a fourth generation railroad man. He worked for 43 years starting with L&N Railroad and finished with CSX in 1999. He was the manager of Division Expenditures, Finance Department.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Porter Harbin of Gulf Shores; daughter, Ruth (Brian) Bohnhoff of Fairhope; sister, Joanne (Douglas) Messengale of Irvington; step-son, Ken (Carole) Matthews of Gulf shores; and step-daughter, Judi (Tommy) Sutton of Theodore.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, Fort Morgan Road, Gulf Shores.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Wilmer Hall Children’s Home, 3811 Old Shell Road, Mobile, AL 36608, or to the Christian Service Center, 317 Dolphin Ave., Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
