Edythe Patrick Hargrove, 83, a former resident of Atmore and a resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007 in Mobile.
She was a bookkeeper with Patrick Plumbing Company. She was born May 14, 1924 in Fort Riley, Kan., to Clarence F. and Maude May Paxton Baker; was a member of First Baptist Church of Bay Minette; member of Sunshine Singers; member of North Baldwin Hospital Auxiliary and Volunteer member of the Red Cross Disaster Team; Volunteer at William F. Green Veterans Home; and former Pink Lady at Greenlawn Hospital in Atmore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, F.F. “Frank” Patrick Sr. and James Hargrove; and sister, Mary Czamota.
Survivors include two sons, Benjamin F. Patrick Jr. of Bratt, Fla., Foster Baker (Kathy) Patrick of Atmore; three daughters, Pat James (Hilton) Hall, Frankie Patrick (Billy Wayne) Donald, all of Atmore and Manell Patrick Cox of Foley; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Memorial services were held Thursday, Sept. 6 at the First Baptist Church in Bay Minette. Graveside services followed at Serenity Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Jonathan James, William Donald, Joseph Donald, Matthew Patrick, Corry Cox and Patrick Cox.
