Harold “Hal” Lynn Parsons, 74, of Fairhope, passed away in his home Sunday morning, Jan. 19, 2014.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Strike Parsons; his three children, Perry Lynn Parsons, Teresa Suzanne Parsons Small and Amy Lynette Parsons Sherrin; and his grandchildren, Meagan Parsons, Harry Parsons, Sam Parsons, Kyle Sherrin, William Small and Kody Sherrin.
Hal was child of God, and volunteered in both the church and community.
“Happy Hal” always had a smile on his face and brought laughter to any room he was in. While managing Hal’s Old Fashion Service on North Section Street in Fairhope, he had the opportunity to get to know many of his friends.
He was a great family man and a super “Bompa.” He will missed by his family, friends, his granddogs and grandcats.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at 10 a.m., followed by the celebration of life at 11 a.m., at Fairhope United Methodist Church, 155 S. Section St., Fairhope.
