Harold R. Slauson, 87, went on to be with our Lord Jan. 10, 2014.
A native of Iowa, he lived most of his adult life in Texas and Alabama.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Loxley, a WWII Air Force veteran, a retiree of Bell Helicopter-Textron in Fort Worth, Texas and a past master of Foley Masonic Lodge in Foley.
Mr. Slauson is survived by his wife, Lynell Graddy Slauson; two stepsons, Michael (Dawn) Thompson of Houston, Texas and Phillip (Susan) Thompson of Bedford, Texas; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at 10 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Loxley.
A visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Loxley.
