Lula Dale Davis Harris, 91, former resident of Uriah and Frisco City and a resident of Fairhope for the past 11 years, died Sunday, April 30, 2010 in Fairhope.
She was a member of Mineola Baptist Church and attended Fish River Baptist Church in Fairhope. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Harris; daughter, Imogene Brown, and one granddaughter, Marilyn Brown.
Survivors include nine sons, Elbert Harris of Robertsdale, Will Harris, Charles Harris and Robert Earl Harris, all of Uriah; Ed Harris, Hames Harris and Clyde Harris, all of Frisco City; Ronnie Harris and Larry Harris, both of Excel; three daughters, Merle Tolin of Atmore, Annie Harris of Monroeville and Mary Ann Tillman of Fairhope; two sisters, Daisy Bell Jeter of Mineola and Lenora Jones of Texas; 20 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 27 at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home, Frisco City. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 28 at Mineola Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Blair and the Rev. James Harris officiating. Burial followed at Mineola Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Monroe Chapel Inc. Funeral Home & Cemetery, Frisco City.
