native of Mobile and resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Monday,

Dec. 19, 2011.

"font-family:">Gordon was a member of Spanish Fort

United Methodist Church. He was a

1979 graduate of W.P. Davidson High School. Gordon earned a BSN in

1986 from the University of South Alabama where he was a member of

Kappa Alpha Order.

"font-family:">Gordon was

"color: navy">a principal clinical specialist for Medtronic

in the Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management Division for 15

years.

"font-family:">Gordon was preceded in death by his

father, Harry Gordon Pennington Jr.

"font-family:">He is survived by his wife, Debra

Keevan Pennington; sons, Elliott Gordon Pennington and Reed

McMillan Pennington, both of Spanish Fort; mother, Cynthia Milling

Peneguy and her husband, Robert Sr., of Mobile; brother, Bruce Ryan

Pennington and his wife, Andrea, of the Woodlands, Texas;

father-in-law and mother-in-law, Philip O. and Catherine Keevan of

Saraland; brothers-in-law, Stephen Keevan and his wife, Chris, of

Satsuma and Brian Keevan and his wife, Lorey, of Bucks, Ala.; five

nieces, Ashley and Mary Elizabeth Pennington, and Emily, Maggie and

Kara Keevan; many other relatives and

friends.

Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011,

from 5 until 7 p.m.

"font-family:">Funeral services will be held from

Spanish Fort United Methodist Church on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at

10 a.m. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of

Fairhope.

"font-family:">In lieu of flowers, the family

suggests that memorials be made to Prodisee Pantry, 6530-D Spanish

Fort Blvd., Spanish Fort, AL 36527, or the National Kidney

Foundation, 5735 Carmichael Pkwy., Montgomery, AL,
