Hattie V. McDaniel, 85, of a native and lifelong resident of Robertsdale, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
Mrs. McDaniel was a member of Robertsdale Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was active in her community.
She loved to garden and cook, and she never met a stranger.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn (Rickey) Durden and Darlene (Russell) Smith, both of Robertsdale; son, William E. (Sue) McDaniel of Robertsdale; five sisters, Agnes Morris of Foley, Betty Joyner of Foley, Bernadine Brazzel of Silverhill, Myrlene Martin of Foley and Tidia Mae Thames of Robertsdale; brother, Claudis White of Fairhope; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Robertsdale Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Mike Gray officiating.
Interment will be held in Hail Memorial Cemetery in Robertsdale.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home.
