ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — According to a report received today by the Baldwin County Health Department, a manhole on College St. in Robertsdale, Al. overflowed due to heavy rainfall and a grease blockage. The overflow resulted in sewage being discharged into Rock Creek.
The health department urges residents to exercise caution if using Rock Creek for recreational purposes. Also, thoroughly cook any fish or seafood caught near by and wash hands after handling fish or seafood.
