DAPHNE, Ala.—The Heavenly Miss Southern Alabama pageant is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17 at Daphne Elementary School. Day-of registration is from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Three high-point winners will receive a prize package including a crown, custom monogrammed banner, large deluxe trophy, special director’s gift and a $100 scholarship to attend the 2009 Heavenly Miss Alabama State Pageant.

Nine age division queens will receive a crown, custom monogrammed banner, deluxe trophy, special director’s gift and a $50 scholarship to attend the 2009 Heavenly Miss Alabama Open State Pageant.

There are two ways to enter for free: Refer three contestants who are not already registered—and they must list you as their reference—or sell “good luck wishes” to pay for your fees and to win awesome prizes and awards. “Good luck wishes” sell for $1 each. You may sell to whoever you want; family and friends are a great start. Contact the director to get tickets. All good luck wishes must be turned in by the May 2 deadline.

Pageant open to Alabama, Florida or Mississippi residents.
