Helen Grace Davis, 93, a native of Pinson, Tenn., and a resident of Loxley for 54 years, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010.
She was a longtime devoted member of the Loxley United Methodist Church, the Association for Retarded Citizens of Baldwin County and the Loxley Merchants Association.
She was preceded in death by husband of 72 years, Roy C. Davis Jr.; three sons, Larry E. Davis, Joe C. Davis, and Robert A. “Bob” Davis Sr.; her parents and siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Edna Louise Cazalas of Belton, Texas, and Angie Mae York of Cantonment, Fla.; son, James Ralph (Ann) Davis of Malakoff, Texas; three daughters-in-law, Margaret Ann Davis of Mobile, Patricia Ann Davis of Robertsdale and Nancy E. (Maurice) Blackmon of Robertsdale; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11 at Mack Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Loxley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery, Robertsdale.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Loxley United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1062 S. Cypress St., Loxley, AL, 36551.
