Helen Louise Truitt, age 95, of Fairhope, Alabama, died Oct. 18, 2016 at Fairhope Health and Rehab.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Truitt; and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Hickman Parnell and husband, Jim; stepdaughters, Gina McKinney (Greg) and Billie Grace Jones (Ricky); stepson, Alan Truitt (Dianne); three grandchildren, Rodney Michael Dutton (Vicki), Chad Douglas Dutton (Lisa) and Michele Dutton Hand; seven great-grandchildren, Patrick O'Brien Hand, Matthew Dutton Hand, Samuel Ellis Dutton, Mason Douglas Dutton, Tyler Michael Dutton (Allyson), Emily Michele Dutton and Michael Douglas Meadows; one great-great-grandson, Tanner Michael Dutton.
Helen was born Dec. 28, 1920 in Coalfire, Alabama to the late Herman Kent Harcrow and Nora Bell Caldwell Harcrow.
She was a member of Reform First Free Will Baptist Church, a former employee of Reform Cap Factory and former manager of the Town & Country Motel in Reform.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Brannon Pinion officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
