Helene Ruth Beiser Hunter, 93, a native of Loxley and a longtime resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Gee Hunter; three sisters, Beth Zadnichek, Ricki P. Redditt and Moma Dot Cain; a brother, Carl Beiser; and son-in-law, Bob Gilmore.
Survivors include her loving husband of 72 years, Gavin Hunter; two daughters, Suzanne Hunter Gilmore of Point Clear and Kathleen Hunter Sharpe (Don) Gordon of Fairhope; son, Gavin Warren Hunter (wife Linda Holcomb) of Fairhope; daughter-in-law, Betsy Hunter; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one future great-grandchild; and brother, Theodore R. “Bud” Beiser of Fairhope.
Private graveside services will be held at Montrose Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Marietta Johnson School of Organic Education or the Organic Museum.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
