ORANGE BEACH, AL — The owners of the Flora-Bama and new owners of the Ole River Bar want to give you a free drink.
Well, almost free. Since taking over the old Happy Harbor on the Line location, the fellows have been redecorating. They are seeking seafaring gear to put on the walls.
But there’s a criteria to meet.
“We want the real thing, nautical artifacts that we can put on the walls here,” Pat McClellan Said. “Stuff from shrimp boats, life rings, that kind of stuff, you know.”
Bring in an item, get a free drink.
“Maritime, nautical stuff – not artificial – that’s real, authentic, that would be good,” Cam Price said. “If they bring it in, we’ll take it and give ‘em a free drink. I just gave away free drinks, John,” he shouted to Sean McClellan who’ll be part of Ole River Bar management.
“If somebody brings in a decoration you have to give them a free drink.”
