Henry Dunlop

Henry Dunlop, 91, a native of Scotland and longtime resident of Fairhope, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at his residence.

He was a veteran of World War II and a life member of the VFW. He retired from Alabama Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Company after 29 years as a refrigeration engineer.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Maxine Dunlop of Fairhope; two sons, John (Sandra) Dunlop of Picayune, Miss., and Gerald Dunlop of Fairhope; one daughter, Elizabeth Dunlop Mullek of Fairhope; two grandchildren, John (Darlene) Dunlop Jr. of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Paul (Magdalene) Mullek II of Bloomington, Ind.; and two great-grandchildren, Kira and Kevin Dunlop.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18 at the Fairhope Museum of History.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Friends of the Fairhope Museum of History or to the charity of your choice.
