"font-family:">Mr. Henry Greenberry Ray Jr., 81, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 in Bay Minette.
"font-family:">Mr. Ray was a native of Bratt, Fla., a former resident of Century, Fla. and a resident of Bay Minette for the past 26 years.
"font-family:">He was a member of the Century Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, a Hadji Shriner, a retired U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired employee of the Exxon Co. and attended the Methodist Church.
"font-family:">He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Anne Ray; and a sister, Florence Kleinatland.
"font-family:">Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Opal Ray of Bay Minette; three stepdaughters, Lorraine Gray, Shirley Melton and Paula Joiner, all of Bay Minette; six step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Lois Burkett of Century, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
"font-family:">Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at 2 p.m., at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cindy Still officiating.
"font-family:">Burial will follow at the Godwin Cemetery with Masonic services.
"font-family:">Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, from 1 p.m. until funeral time at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
"font-family:">Pallbearers will be Trent Burkett, Doug Kleinatland, Christopher Haber, Jeff Crenshaw, J.W. Joiner, Matt Curtis and Chris Stewart.
"font-family:">Honorary pallbearer will be Dennis Lambeth.
