"font-family:">Henry J. “Butch” Gruber III, 64, a native and resident of Elberta, died on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011.
"font-family:">Mr. Gruber was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the United States Army. He was in the 173rd Airborne and the 20th Special Forces Group.
"font-family:">Mr. Gruber was a vocational instructor for carpentry in Mobile and Baldwin counties.
"font-family:">He is survived by a son, Phillip B. (Heather) Gruber of Gulf Shores; two sisters, Bernice Davis of Citrus Heights, Calif. and Laura (Ronald) Kichler of Elberta; two brothers, Ronald Gruber and Charles “Skip” (Yvonne) Gruber, both of Elberta; and a granddaughter, Shianne Lea Gruber.
"font-family:">A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m., at the Elberta Public Cemetery.
"font-family:">A visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 6-8 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
