Christina Joy Henry of Des Moines, Iowa, and Jeremy Malcolm Skinner of Fairhope were united in marriage Aug. 23, 2008, in Des Moines.

The Rev. Taka Iguchi officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Lorie Dasch and Phil Henry of Des Moines, Iowa. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry, of Des Moines.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wick Skinner of Fairhope. He is the grandson of Anna Lindsay of Fairhope and the late Malcolm Lindsay, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wickliffe Skinner Jr.

Megan Brotherson of Des Moines served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Heidi VanCleave, sister of the bride; Amy Skinner, sister of the bridegroom; Ruth Campbell, Sarah Izycki, Bree Milrod and Jessica Steward.

John Robert Simons III of Fairhope served as best man. Groomsmen were Warren Whitten of Daphne, Joel Williams of Evergreen, Michael Rivera, Jerry McCarty, Chris Steward and Jabaar Ellis.

Carsyn and Avery Dasch, nieces of the bride, served as flower girls.

Following a wedding trip to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the couple resides in Cleveland, Tenn.
