Heustis Avritt Sr., a native of Yellow Bluff, Alabama and a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at Thomas Hospital.
Mr. Avritt was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Knight Avritt.
He is survived by two sons, Heustis (Janice) Avritt Jr. of Bay Minette, Alabama and Christopher Michael (Nikki) Avritt of North Carolina; four daughters, Wanda Faye Avritt of Thomasville, Alabama, Dara Jaye (John) Whitney of Melbourne, Florida, Teresa Carol (William) Lassiter of Selma, Alabama, Cecilia Ann (Frank) Connely of Virginia; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will follow in Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
