Heather Joanne Higgins and Jonathan Michael Gilotti were united in marriage Jan. 11, 2008 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Elberta. Pastor Keith Ringers officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Guy and Paula Higgins of Foley.
She is a 2001 graduate of Foley High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of South Alabama.
The bridegroom is the son of Angela and Michael Gilotti of Avon, Conn.
He is a 2001 graduate of Avon (Conn.) High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Massachusetts.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Music for the ceremony was provided by soloist Will Scott and guitarist Jeremy Dubb.
A reception at Zeke’s Landing in Orange Beach followed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple lives in El Paso, Texas.
