LOXLEY, Ala. — The Bayshore Eagles improved to 3-0 in the West Region of the Panhandle Christian Conference with a 4-2 win over Central Christian Tuesday.
A four-run first inning for the Eagles stood until the Saints rallied in the seventh for two. But Miles Thomas picked up the win for Bayshore with the help of closer Charlie Brock who got the save.
Thomas went five innings allowing one hit and two runs. He struck out five. Brock retired four batters, striking out three. Brock also singled in a run in the first. Trevor Thrasher had an RBI single. Sam Malone, Micah Jones had a single and Luke Wilkinson a double for BCS.
In the top of the sixth, Connor Atwell and Caleb Sullivan led the rally for CCS that resulted in two runs. C. Johnson had a hit for the Saints.
