Gwendolyn Hodges, 80, a native of Jackson, Miss., and a resident of Miflin for over 50 years, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008.
She was a member of the Oyster Bay Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joe A. Hodges of Miflin; two daughters, Jolynn Suell of Montevallo and Shawn Plash of Bay Minette; one sister, Jane Rush of Paris, TX; one brother, Stanley Pierce of Idaho; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at Oyster Bay Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Peoples officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
Pallbearers are Joe Suell, Robert Suell, Sam Suell, Joe K. Suell, Jakob Suell and Clyde Wier.
The family requests memorial donations be made to your favorite charity.
