Dorene Mae Hoiles, 67, born Sept. 12, 1942 in Kalispell, Mont., a resident of Newberry, Ind., died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital & Health Centers, Beech Grove, Ind.
She was a switchboard operator for St. Regis Paper Co., Pensacola, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl T. Smith and Dora Marie Marquardt Smith.
Survivors include a son, Gary Alan Caldwell of Mobile; daughter, Susan Darlene Kaarie of Cambridge, Wis.’ two sisters, Lavonne Mottern of Newberry, Inc., and Rosemary Beauregard of Foley; brother, Mark D. Marquardt of Littleton, Colo.; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Alabama at a later date.
