Algeon Sidney Holley, 94, a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, April 4, 2008.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Thelma Harwood Holley; two children, Janelle (Robert) Proctor of Beauford, S.C., and Hillman (Becky) Holley of Slidell, La.; four grandchildren, Robert (Lesley) Proctor of Ft. Benning, Ga., Holley P. Malia of Santa Barbara, Calif., Patrick (Melissa) Holley of Columbus, Miss., and Michael (Kristi) Holley of Slidell, La.; and five great-grandchildren, Will and Grace Proctor, Alex and Tanner Holley and T.J. Holley.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 6 from the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Minister Richard Henderson officiating. Burial followed at Sardis Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Doyce Burke, Derrick McLain, Dale Burke, Bart McLain, Mitchell McLain and Charles Massey.
Arrangements were made by Turner Funeral Home, Luverne.
