William Ray Hollyfield, 88, a native of Poga, Tenn., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at his residence.
He was a retired master sergeant with the U.S. Air Force; was a veteran of World War II; the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet M. Mateer Hollyfield; and a son, Michael Hollyfield.
Survivors include step-son, Gary Barrick of Lakeland, Fla.; step-daughter, Judy Pflum of Madison; brother, Walter Alonzo Hollyfield of Minnesota; and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 28 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home. Burial followed at Bay Minette Cemetery with full military honors rendered by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
