Bay Minette, Alabama-- Miss Holly Dunnam and Mr. Terry Huff were crowned Faulkner State’s 2012 Homecoming Queen and King during Monday night’s Homecoming game.

Dunnam of Wilmer, Ala. is a 2010 graduate of Mary G. Montgomery High School. She serves as Phi Theta Kappa Vice-President of Fellowship, Secretary in the Student Government Association, member of the Pow Wow Leadership Society, member of the Student Affairs Committee, Resident Hall Assistant, and member of the Judiciary Committee. She has also been listed to the College’s Deans’ List. Dunnam plans to pursue a degree in Elementary Education at Auburn University after her graduation in May from Faulkner State.

Huff of McIntosh, Ala. is a 2010 graduate and valedictorian of McIntosh High School. He serves as an SGA Senator, is a member of the Pow-Wow Leadership Society and the Judiciary Committee, and he serves as a Resident Assistant in Sun Chief Hall. Outside of the College, Huff is a volunteer firefighter and EMT. Huff is a sophomore and plans to pursue a degree in nursing through Faulkner State’s Nursing Program.

The 2012 Sophomore court in addition to Huff and Dunnam is: Samantha Hollenkamp, Kristyn Cliburn, Ashley Davidson, Lauren Cunningham, Melissa Zucher, Ashton Phillips, Kayla Bryars, Charlie “Chuck” Lawson, Gregory “Chip” Grimes, Rodney Adams, LaMarsio McKeller, Matt Cooper and Kezmond Cooper.

The 2012 Freshmen court is: Dominique McQuitery, Johanna Johnston, Taylor Aerne, Brittany Hale, Samantha Wyatt, Briana Robertson, Victor Vertison, Atem Kuot, Darius Sewell, Namon Scott, Taylor Bowling and Tucker Ward.

Faulkner State’s Student Government Association holds elections annually for both officer and Homecoming positions. Freshmen and sophomores are eligible for election to the Homecoming courts.
