Gwen M. Hood, 68, a native of Georgia and resident of Fort Morgan, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman D. Hood Sr.
Survivors include a daughter, Robin Hood (Bobby) Lankford of Mobile; son, Norman D. (Jennifer) Hood Jr. of Lexington, S.C.; two brothers, Aaron Miles of Douglasville, Ga., and Harold Miles of Cedartown, Ga.; three grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23 at the J. Miller residence in Fort Morgan.
The family requests memorial donations be made the charity of your choice or to United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile.
Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
